When I feel like it, I put together a manageable-sized block of music - 30 to 60 minutes, that you could listen to on a walk, run or commute etc., that I think people might like, or hate, or at least find interesting. And I share it as a podcast, so you can listen to it from the widget in the blog, download it, or get your podcast app to download it automatically every time a new one appears.

About

One Saturday morning I spent a very entertaining couple of hours on Facebook trading YouTube links to country songs with my friend Al. It made me think how much fun it is to get introduced to music by friends, and to reciprocate. So that's what this is for.

I've deliberately blocked search engines from finding this, or Blogger from indexing it. So if you're here, it's because you know me and got the link from me -- or there's a six-degrees-of-separation thing going on. I hope that by keeping it to a circle of friends, copyright doesn't become an issue.

What I'd really like is to hear other people's music in return. All you'd need to do is to put together a mix (Audacity and Mixxx are two good free tools for achieving this), and share it with me by email, DropBox, whatever. I'd do the rest.
